I kiss
A human face
but you've lost your humanity...
Our story
Rolls and bends
I refuse to believe
"The End"

You've made it clear
I'm not who you want
before the empty

You waste
so much of my time
Yet it's you
I refuse to lose...

I hope you find
your paradise
In this world
of foolish eyes.

When palms sway
and it's a beautiful day
You'll think of my cloud;
The silver around the gray.

My mind's deep
Universe of love
Proof of me
For you is not enough.
I'm tangible
Feel the push and shove
I'm here like your precious
God above...

I'd drain
Blood from my veins
To keep you from the pain...
You'd never
do the same
But I keep playing your games.

You beckon me
Your phone rings
And intuitively
I know you have to go...

You pull me in
Just to stop the flow
I reject the truth
Of what I know.

You can travel
around the world
Gaze up at a millions moons...

You won't
Find another unique
Just a cast of perfect cartoons.

If perfection is what you seek
If smiley faced love
makes you weak
Then I can surely
Never compete

If two hearts
aren't allowed
To cry

Then how could we
reach higher than the sky?

There must be room to grow
His muscles and Money
Is only a show...

I am

Every Hour

Butterflies in the chest
While screaming in a fight.

Your fantasy isn't love
You'll never get there
As long as you turn
Away without a care

The light is under the door
You refuse to knock
Cowering from the possibility
Crawling on the darkened floor

I embrace
A human disgrace
It hurts
While he whispers no.

You've parked illegally
on my heart
My common sense
Refuses to call a tow.

Hook and chain
Drag him away
Hook and chain
This is my parking space

Is Miley Cyrus "ACTING BLACK?"

Back in the nineties, every morning, I'd arrive to the gates of my private school in the passengers side of my mother's Volvo. What's so special about this? Well next to those gates read the words, "Brooklandville Plantation."
That's right, my Black parents sent me to a plantation to get the White mans education.
LOL I'M JOKING ABOUT THE WHITE MAN PART. I just had to! Plus it rhymed!
But my parents were indeed Black and my school was once a working plantation; Full of Black slaves and White racists on horseback. Talk about a mind fuck!
It was a predominantly White, Episcopal private school. The first day of classes, I'd always be ecstatic to see a new BROWN FACE in the classroom. (Which was seldom)
I did get a decent education there. (For the tuition my parents paid, I better had)
What the fuck does this have to do with Miley Cyrus? OK I AM GETTING THERE, KEEP READING!

So growing up in a predominantly White, Episcopal private school and then a predominantly White public high school, naturally, most of my friends were White. It just so happened that a lot of them liked Dave Mathews Band, and in some cases, Marilyn Manson. I couldn't help it if they liked snow boarding, lacrosse, Dawson's Creek and all things...well... White! (Again, I am joking. I don't stereotype...but...ummm...yea THEY DID LIKE ALL THESE THINGS AND SO DID I) To me, they didn't like these things because they were White, they liked these things because they brought them joy. And I was Black, or so it appeared as such in the mirror, and I liked these things too.
In high school, there were a few more brown faces, However, they didn't take a liking to my love of Fiona Apple and summers in the mountains. I was called an "OREO" on the second week of school. Black on the outside, White on the inside.  I wore a Kuffi on my locks but apparently I still wasn't "BLACK ENOUGH" for them. According to them, I didn't speak ghetto enough. I didn't use Ebonics. From their perspective, I wanted to BE White. I didn't fit into what they deemed was BLACK, Yet the White students simply saw me as a cool ass dude. They didn't see my color. My Black classmates, did.
Flash forward to Miley Cyrus "Twerking" on YouTube and wearing a gold grill in her "WE CAN'T STOP" video. What was the initial reaction to her new found ratchet behavior?
Who did this primarily come from?

These are the same people who no doubt said Tiger Woods thinks he is White because he enjoys White vagina and hangs out at the Country Club. These are the same people who defend President Barack Obama when people say he's not "BLACK ENOUGH" or coin him the infamous "OREO" They constantly contradict themselves and never have a point in their madness. Let's be clear, I am not talking about ALL BLACKS when it comes to these judgments, I am talking about the surprisingly large population of Blacks who think like this. These CERTAIN Blacks, admit that Blacks do not all speak ghetto, yet they hold Miley Cyrus to a "White Standard."
Is her father the "WHITE STANDARD?"
Is his "Achy Breaky Heart" worthy of a National Association for the Advancement of White People Image Award?
Is this what Whites are suppose to be?
What is "Trying to be Black?"
Did Black people invent ratchet behavior?
Were Black people responsible for Twerking? They may have invented the dance, but plenty of White people invented things that Black people enjoy; Such as Jumping Jacks, skateboarding (See Lil Wayne) Ring around the Rosey and more.
If Blacks are a diverse group of people who can not be defined by dance moves, images in the media and vernacular, then why are we equating everything negative to "BEING BLACK?"
Sure Miley does Molly and Black rappers are the main ones who made the shit popular, but how many White celebrities have died of drug overdoses? Didn't THE BEATLES sing about LSD?
Blacks aren't the only people doing drugs. Doing drugs doesn't mean one is trying to be Black and for Blacks to say that bullshit is a slap in the face to the march on Washington in which we are currently commemorating. Rev. Dr Martin Luther King Jr. would probably say, "THIS AINT GOT SHIT TO DO WITH RACE! AND EVERY THING TO DO WITH MILEY NOT HAVING ANY HOME TRAINING!"
Well I am sure he would put it more eloquently than that.
Britney and her ratchet girls
My point is that, people have made Miley's boney gyrating ass into a race issue. She may have stolen the swag of some of her predecessors like Britney Spears, Madonna, Gwen Stefani and more....(ALL WHITE BITCHES) but she didn't try to steal the skin color of some one else.

Many people of all races have said she has NOTHING to twerk. But I bet if she got ass injections they would be saying, "LOOK, SHE INFLATED HER ASS, SHE'S TRYING TO BE BLACK! SHE'S TRYING TO BE NICKI MINAJ!" Last time I checked, she was still White. Last time I checked, she said she knows she is White on Twitter. Last time I checked, Being White does not come with a rule book. Last time I checked, Twerking never came with a sign that read, "BLACKS ONLY."
I love "CAN'T STOP" and I love her bravery, but I despise her trend following. There's nothing original about what she's doing and it does seem forced to me. What I won't do, is tell her that she can't do it though. She's in her twenties, a grown woman and able to do what makes her happy creatively. (Even though she's being handled and probably doesn't make any of her own "Creative" decisions) I believe she grew up listening to HIP HOP and Disney was a lie. I don't think she's pretending to love the culture, but I do think she is TRYING TOO HARD to be edgy. It does not seem organic. It seemed organic for Gwen Stefani to scream out, "I AINT NO HOLLA BACK GIRL!" plus do a two step next to the rapper Eve.
It seemed natural for Madonna to VOGUE and the gays didn't say, "SHE THINKS SHE'S A GAY MAN! OFF WITH HER HEAD!"

But it doesn't seem natural for Miley to ATTEMPT to twerk in latex panties while making awkward stank faces for the cameras. However, it does seem ridiculous that Blacks are screaming about her wanting to be a BLACK WOMAN; Claiming Hannah Montana is ripping them off and calling for her head. Yes I believe Miley loves HIP HOP, she wishes she could twerk, not because she wants to be a Black woman, but because she respects the dance. I don't think all of her antics are necessary or genuine. I think most of it has to do with following the trend of being "URBAN" (Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Ke$ha) creating shock value to sell records and breaking her Disney persona. Why not just come out with this song, twerk with a little more clothes on *COUGH* BUTT PADDING *COUGH* and actually hire a choreographer? Why not just do a song with a hip hop beat without all of the spectacle-making?
Thus the music industry of 2013. It's all about creating BUZZ...
Miley should be eating the sandwich that the Black guy ate in her video

All about the shock value...The RACY IMAGES before showcasing any relevant talent which most don't even have these days. Ke$ha? She can't sing or dance yet she's a SUPERSTAR. Anyone can cover themselves in glitter and semen...I DIGRESS.

In conclusion, I wish Black people would stop making everything into an US verses THEM. I've been accused of that in my earlier blogs, but let's face it, institutional racism does exist. (SEE EARLIER BLOGS)
I wish we could just create music and forget about the colors behind it. White people can have soul just like Blacks can, if not more. Jon B can serenade them just like Joe can. Toni Braxton can sing about a Spanish Guitar and J Lo can sing about being from "The Block" (JUST DON'T CALL ANYONE A NIGGA AGAIN) Darius Rucker's Black bald ass can sing Country while Miley Cyrus attempts to Twerk it on a SOUL SINGING WHITE MAN NAMED ROBIN THICKE. It's a colorful world with many voices, Let them mix and enjoy the many interpretations.

The Butler: Oppressed for Oscars

Oprah Winfrey is the first Black Billionaire. She's notable in the "mainstream" for changing the lives of White middle aged women with self-help programming, but to Black people, she's most known for...

And that is who she will always be to Black people. That is where they want her, and that is where Oprah chooses to stay FOR Black people to accept her. Oprah has performed in several movies, including The Color Purple, Beloved, and The Butler. In all of her films, she appears as a struggling Black woman with limited education. She gets all oppressed for Hollywood because after all, Hollywood caters to the image that IT HAS LAID OUT for the Black demographic; that WE need saving. The machine has provided it's Manchurian Candidates who are the paid-for leaders of Black entertainment.

Lee Daniels...

and worse...

...Tyler Perry.

What people do not understand, is that Spike Lee has been a witness to the machine which blocked his funding and shut him down because he did not follow the PROTOCOL that had long been established. Yes, the man is a bit jealous of these new age directorial millionaires, but in essence, he has watched souls get sold like Africans on the auction block, like a Minstrel Show ironically hailed as progress because the director happens to be Black.

Halle being made to "Feel Good" by the racist White savior
Blacks have graced the covers of magazines, they've become a Bond Girl and they've rode a racist White penis on the big screen for the sake of becoming mainstream. Super-sized Black areola's and a White man who makes her "Feel Good" has become the standard of so-called success for Black actresses. (Enter Keri Washington and a White President) The loose Black woman who walks like a lioness but sucks dick like a whore, has long been iconic; way before Dorothy Dandridge had an identity crisis with Carmen Jones. Protocol had been established when Dandridge let her PIMP European boyfriend, I mean, White director, sexually demean her. We think because King Kong's got nothing on Denzel Washington that we have MADE IT. But when the applause is over, when the nameless faces are still nameless for a cause, the Black actor has still received an award from White people for being uncivilized, ignorant and subservient.

Daniels happy to have sold out for a statue of a White man
The desperation for White acceptance is pitiful among the so-called Black Hollywood elite. These Black directors/producers have wet dreams over Oscars and nightmares over a mere NAACP Image Award. Blacks care as much about the NAACP as they care about who the owners are of Black Entertainment Television, they simply don't give a fuck. The NAACP has celebrated such films as FLIGHT and RED TAILS; stories of Black bravery that were seen as an abomination by major Hollywood.
Did you actually think the Precious Academy would even consider a film like Red Tails?

Daniels and Perry do their bidding. They think with their money-hungry morning wood which shamefully arouses the nigger mentality: When the White man gives applause, then you must have done well.
The nigger performs his magic show for the White man while pretending to cater to a neglected tambourine market.

Tyler and Oprah put their names on it to show their allegiance...

And Monique accepts her award for thinking she can't get AIDS if she never fucks in the butt...

It is no coincidence that the fat Black woman is the heroin of the Black community. From Hattie McDaniel to Monique to Oprah, to Octavia Spencer, these women have strategically been reborn, over and over again for the mental programming of Blacks. Stay with me here.

What has changed since then???
Who got the first Oscar? A fat Black woman who took care of white babies and said YES SIR to her White owners, I mean bosses. The Help received Oscars left and right because fat Black women kept Hattie McDaniel's legacy alive. Oh the Black people lined up at the theater, they rocked back and forth with their church fans in hand in solemn recognition that we have been oppressed, but we have overcome. But how could we have made it if our image is still in the slave ship? How have we gained ownership in Hollywood while our directors have million dollar mansions and brown "HELP" clean their toilets with close-up shots of their defeat?

It took a White man to produce and direct a film like RED TAILS because the Black producers were too busy brainstorming on how to get the next token Oscar.

And what they came up with...

The Butler.

Oprah can make all of the billions she wants to but in the intermission of her board meetings at Harpo, she becomes a slave, literally. A tree was whipped into her back in BELOVED and now in The Butler, she's most proud of her husbands rise to glory as he folds White rich people's napkins. Oprah may tell White people what to do in the boardroom, but all is even when they refuse to let a nigger look at an expensive purse. It's no coincidence this scandal was followed by a butler husband in a film that will surely win her an Oscar.

The underlying message:

You may make money like the white boys club

But you're still a nigger. Now dance for us and we will give you a treat.

Now that Oprah has teamed up with Tyler Perry, the biggest sellout in Black history, on her bullshit network, it is almost a sure thing that Oprah will reap the benefits of toasting to the oppressed life in her new film.

The powers that be want to see her get whipped, they want to see her sexualized, demoralized and brought down to size.

Why aren't Black people tired of the same ole hymns? The same ole negro spirituals, waiting for the chariot to take us home when we now have such high positions and no reason to remind ourselves of who we once were. But let's face it, Black people love to see themselves as victims.

We united for Trayvon Martin because we love crying wolf, coming together against the racist boogey men while choosing to be ignorant of the drugs that were placed in our communities by the CIA. We miss the bigger picture, the larger scandals...Such as the thug image and paranoia of the Black man that was placed in Hollywood by the Black puppets. The Boys in the Hood need to stay there. Thanks John Singleton.

Anderson and the oppressed Black victims engage in a pity party
Our peripheral vision has been extinguished. We are bombarded by Anderson Cooper who speaks of White privilege on CNN. The distraction keeps us up in arms over people, places and things whose only connection to race is the ignorance of the people who buy into false flags of racism. While the flags wave above our heads, the system takes another Black man to prison and another Black actress signs her name on the dotted line.

We love the helpless women in the Tyler Perry films who just keep getting violated by the evil Black no-good man. Everything bad in the world happens to us because of our skin color and Black women can never be treated right by a dark skin Black man. Just ask Tyler Perry.

We believe, that the only way for us to be accepted, to be celebrated, to be rewarded, is to show the world the shackles that we helped to put on.

Barack Obama is Black, but Fitz is White, and it is he who Black women want to fuck. They live vicariously through Olivia Pope, whose Black pussy is oppressed by the most powerful White man in the world.
You see, we are conditioned to think of the White man as powerful and to think of Obama as being a nice smiling negro who charmed his way into the White House. We only put Black Presidents on the screen when the world is about to end. When the White House is on fire or being engulfed by a tidal wave. Look at Hollywood and tell me that I'm lying. From Danny Glover to Jamie Foxx....

In conclusion, fuck the Oscars.

To Hell with another butler, nanny or Black dick sucking harlot who can't get enough of the White mans protein shake.

Why are we wasting our efforts on an academy of Johns?

Why do we keep putting on aprons when there are more dynamic wardrobes to wear?

Who are we? How did we get BACK here?

Hattie McDaniel to Octavia Spencer

Dorothy Dandridge to Halle Berry

Flip Wilson to Tyler Perry

Richard Roundtree to Denzel Washington

But not for Losing Isaiah
And certainly not for Glory or Malcolm X
